Superdrugs Mini Haul

Hiya!

Recently I went to my local Superdrug's to look for the new Kylie Jenner SinfulShine collection and luckily they stocked it!
I wanted to purchase all 8 colours but I couldn't justify buying them all at full price so I thought I'd just wait for a deal to come on before purchasing them but I did manage to get 2 shades and the top coat.
Kryptonite
When I first saw this on the display I feel instantly in love with it! This gorgeous teal colour made me want this collection and it didn't disappoint! No words can describe how beautiful this shade is and Kylie Jenner did an amazing job of using this shade to promote this collection.
Kommando
This pretty nude colour is so cute and not as sparkly as I thought it'd be. Its so subtle but the sparkles make it very elegant; its an amazing everyday colour. I found that the formula for this shade was harder to paint on as it was thicker than Kryptonite.

I haven't used the topcoat yet as it seems as if its just a regular topcoat; it didn't say whether it's needed or not. I used the polishes on its own and it still gave an amazing shine after just 2 coats and the colour came out beautifully. I do hate the brush as its so small but that means that its perfect for nail art.
I am definitely going to purchase more of these polishes as I love how beautiful the shades come out.

As I was about to go and pay I spotted that Barry M had made 2 Superdrug exclusive nail paints. I managed to get both shades.
Carnival Couture
This shade reminds me of Tiki Hut from the coconut fusion range. The colour is darker than shown on the bottle but it's such a nice shade of brown.
Festival Fever
I LOVE THIS! It's bright and vibrant. This shade reminds me so much of Superdrug!

I have always been a Barry M fan as the brushes are thick and makes painting so easy. I love the tops of these polishes as its a shiny silver lid; the lid is textured and gives it more grip.
I am now on the hunt for the Barry M Boots exclusive polishes although I am disappointed that they didn't pick a blue shade to match the Boots logo.

What new polishes do you love?

Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paint Review

Hiya!

Finally a post that's not about food! lol!

I am so excited to share with you Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paint! I ordered all 9 colours from Superdrug as they had an offer on where you can purchase the set for £25! These polishes are infused with coconut water and coconut oil which hydrates and nourishes the nails.
I absolutely love how pigmented they are and that there's a range of colours from nudes to spring/summer shades. They kept to the classic BarryM bottle but changes the lid which is like a shiny bronze; it kind of reminds me of the skin of a coconut.
I tested out surfboard and I wasn't too happy with this formula. The others painted well and was smooth and easy to apply but with this shade I found it very thick; I'm not sure whether it was just the bottle I had so I will purchase this shade to see. I painted 2 coats of this colour and it came out well; the finish result was shiny and smooth but best of all was that it didn't have a strong smell which is what I look for in polishes as Z can't stand the smell.

I wore this for about 3 days before it started chipping but it was only small chips so I just filled in the small chips to make it last a little longer. I'm not 100% that the polish worked but it did something to my nails as my nails have become stronger! Normally by now my nails would chip with my polish but even pressing down on them is tough. I followed the instructions and painted the polish straight on so that the coconut oil and water could start working and maybe it did. I'm not saying it absolutely worked but it did something.

What colour do you love for spring?

KIKO Milano Haul

Hi!

I went Bluewater the other day in search for a birthday present and saw that KIKO MILANO had a sale! As you know I love my sales but I did go a bit crazy in there but I was upset that they didn't have any face mask instock.
It was my first time in KIKO and I loved it! I went on a Saturday and it was crazy so I can't comment on the experience of the store but I did ask some staff members on stock and they was happy to help and the girl on the tills was super nice.

BB Glow Compact 04
I love the packaging of this. The separate compartment for the sponge is very convenient and the mirror is big enough to see my whole face. The foundation is creamy but once you place it on it feels very light and it is very matte. I did want shade 2 but they ran out and 4 was a little lighter than I would of liked.
Compact Powder 102 Natural Pink
The powder is extremely light and once place on your face it feels as if it isn't even there. Its very pigmented so you don't need a lot and it does an amazing job of making my face shiny.
Colour Veil Blush 01 Pink
Candy Floss. I don't know why but it smells like candy floss! It has such a nice sweet scent. The powder is light and very pigmented.
Smart Eye Pencil 815 Smoke Grey & 800 Golden Silk
I was really disappointed with 800 Golden Silk because it broke after just using it once! The 815 Smoke Grey looks more like a dark navy then grey once you put it on so I'm not liking it very much especially when I had to keep going back and forth to get the colour.
Double Glam Eyeliner 112
They are very soft and pigmented. I love the colours on this and the way it glides on.
VIVID Colour Lipstick Pencil 09 Ruby Red & 04 Strawberry
AMAZING! I love how pigmented the lipsticks are and how easy it to apply. It does feel a bit dry after its placed on but the colour stays.
Smart Lip Pencil 701 Pearly Pink Peony & 705 Bright Geranium
Easy to apply and very pigmented but there's a strong wood smell which annoys me because as I'm applying it on my lips.
408 Crystal Sheer Rich Red & 513 Luscious Cream Lipstick
I absolutely love the packaging as its so shiny and fun. Z loves to 'push the button' to open it. It feels very creamy and silky on the lips but what I love the most is that it smells amazing!
Perfect Star Gel Duo
I haven't tried this yet but I love the packaging of this as its so shiny.

I'm excited to try these products and look forward to purchasing more products from KIKO Milano. If you've tried any of the products what would you recommend for my future purchases?

Sleek Silver Gift Box

Contents:
i-Divine Original Palette 594|| Eye & Cheek Palette-Dancing Til Dusk 027 || Blush-Flamingo 937 || Brow Kit-Dark 818 || Gloss Me - Fools Gold 442|| Lethal Length Mascara 422

i-Divine Original Palette 594
Top: Black Cab, Royal, London Rain, The Thames, E10, Hyde Park,
Bottom: Cream Tea, London Eye, Big Ben, Penny Farthing, Sterling, Banksy
All I can say is WOW! They're very pigmented and shimmery (except for Black Cab which is Matt). Z loved it! He kept asking me to make a rainbow on his arm. He couldn't stop smiling and that's how I felt with these shades because they're just so fun.

Eye & Cheek Palette - Dancing Til Dusk 027
This palette is prefect for any handbag. It contains natural colours which you could use everyday and it opens with ease making it perfect for on the go.

Brow Kit - Dark 818
I didn't test this brow kit as I don't normally use dark shades but my sister has been keeping her eyes wide open for this so I might have to give it to her if she asks nicely..

Blush - Flamingo 937
This is such a pretty pink. Its very pigmented like their eyeshadows.

Lethal Length Mascara - Blackest Black 422
I love the design of this wand because one side is longer than the other. The short side is perfect for using on my bottom lashes and the longer end for the top lashes.

Gloss Me - Fools Gold 442
I have to admit that I am not pleased with this product, its very sticky and feels heavy. The colour didn't show up as much and just look like a clear shimmer.
