Superdrugs Mini Haul

Hiya!

Recently I went to my local Superdrug's to look for the new Kylie Jenner SinfulShine collection and luckily they stocked it!

I wanted to purchase all 8 colours but I couldn't justify buying them all at full price so I thought I'd just wait for a deal to come on before purchasing them but I did manage to get 2 shades and the top coat. 

Kryptonite

When I first saw this on the display I feel instantly in love with it! This gorgeous teal colour made me want this collection and it didn't disappoint! No words can describe how beautiful this shade is and Kylie Jenner did an amazing job of using this shade to promote this collection. 

Kommando

This pretty nude colour is so cute and not as sparkly as I thought it'd be. Its so subtle but the sparkles make it very elegant; its an amazing everyday colour. I found that the formula for this shade was harder to paint on as it was thicker than Kryptonite.

I haven't used the topcoat yet as it seems as if its just a regular topcoat; it didn't say whether it's needed or not. I used the polishes on its own and it still gave an amazing shine after just 2 coats and the colour came out beautifully. I do hate the brush as its so small but that means that its perfect for nail art.

I am definitely going to purchase more of these polishes as I love how beautiful the shades come out.

As I was about to go and pay I spotted that Barry M had made 2 Superdrug exclusive nail paints. I managed to get both shades.

Carnival Couture

This shade reminds me of Tiki Hut from the coconut fusion range. The colour is darker than shown on the bottle but it's such a nice shade of brown.

Festival Fever

I LOVE THIS! It's bright and vibrant. This shade reminds me so much of Superdrug! 

I have always been a Barry M fan as the brushes are thick and makes painting so easy. I love the tops of these polishes as its a shiny silver lid; the lid is textured and gives it more grip. 

I am now on the hunt for the Barry M Boots exclusive polishes although I am disappointed that they didn't pick a blue shade to match the Boots logo.

Models Own Haul

I'm extremely sorry for the lack of posts as Z caught the flu and so did I. It's been the hardest week for us both but we're getting there.

Models own had a sale recently with everything 50% off! I went absolutely crazy and had to cut out a fair amount of polishes from my basket so I ended up with just 10 bottles.

I loved every bit of the packaging especially the cardboard sleeve that goes outside the box; its very vibrant and the colours used make me want to party! The tissue paper inside was fun with little doodles and writing.

I made a purchase of 6 HyperGel polishes and 4 Colour Chrome Polishes.

Twilight HyperGel (L-R) Jet Black SG036, Everyday Grey SG035, Heather SG042, Cashmere Rose SG037, Loganberry SG038, Teal SG046

I love the Colour Chrome polishes as it was something different. These polishes are prefect for stamping but I had thrown all of my stamping set out a couple of years ago because I just couldn't find a good polish to use with it but after I had recieved these polishes I went back onto ebay and bought stamping plates and sets.

I found that the polishes did leave streaks but the colour is so gorgeous and very pigmented! 

I have purchased a few HyperGel's before but I think they've changed the formula as its so much easier to apply and it's not as thick. I absolutely love how smooth it goes on and how quick it dries. My favourite shade right now is Loganberry. Its not to red nor purple and it gives my hand a pop of colour which suits this season. I had trouble with the formula of the Cashmere Rose as it was very thick and so it was hard to paint onto my nail and the Teal polish wouldn't come off my skin until I scrubbed it but the colour is so amazing. I just love it!

Overall I am extremely happy with my purchases and I cannot wait to get more!

This palette contains a lot of dark colours which is perfect for a smoky eye effect. There is more matt shadows in here compared to the i-Divine Original Palette 594.

Highlighting Palette Precious Metals 029

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! So pigmented and light! As soon as I swatched this I wanted to put it on my face! It's shimmery and you don't even need a lot.

Blush By 3 Palette Californ.I.A 370

These are very creamy and pigmented. It doesn't feel sticky and it contains natural colours. 

Lip 4 Lipstick Palette Mardi Gras 861

I really don't know how I feel about this product as I'm not a fan of lip palettes but there are some amazing lipsticks in this set. I found the lipsticks on the left really hard to swatch and it was not sticking properly or evenly but I loved the ones on the right because they was easy to put on and not sticky at all. I know that you can mix the colours around to make your own unique colours so I'd love to play more with this palette.

Control Shine & Prime Natural 018

I was so disappointed! I can't really say much about this product because there was hardly anything inside the tube; I did manage to get a small blob. It feels very light and dry. It's perfect for me because I have oily skin.

Full Fat Lash Mascara Blackest Black 421

The design of this mascara is very similar to the Lethal Length Mascara 422 except for the wand. The wand used in this mascara is a little harder to use especially on my bottom lashes as its so big. Ideally I would use this for my top lashes and the Lethal Length Mascara for my bottom lash. 

Eyebrow Stylist Medium 717

I love this item!! I've stopped using all of my other eyebrow kits because this is so much easier. I love the slanted pencil, its shaped as a triangle to you get more control of how thick you want your brows to be.

All I can say is WOW! They're very pigmented and shimmery (except for Black Cab which is Matt). Z loved it! He kept asking me to make a rainbow on his arm. He couldn't stop smiling and that's how I felt with these shades because they're just so fun. 

Eye & Cheek Palette - Dancing Til Dusk 027

This palette is prefect for any handbag. It contains natural colours which you could use everyday and it opens with ease making it perfect for on the go.

Brow Kit - Dark 818

I didn't test this brow kit as I don't normally use dark shades but my sister has been keeping her eyes wide open for this so I might have to give it to her if she asks nicely..

Blush - Flamingo 937

This is such a pretty pink. Its very pigmented like their eyeshadows.

 Lethal Length Mascara - Blackest Black 422

I love the design of this wand because one side is longer than the other. The short side is perfect for using on my bottom lashes and the longer end for the top lashes.

Gloss Me - Fools Gold 442

I have to admit that I am not pleased with this product, its very sticky and feels heavy. The colour didn't show up as much and just look like a clear shimmer.

Boxing Day Haul

So Christmas has come and gone and what else is left except to hit the sales! I love my bargains!!!
This year I restricted myself to just a few shops and avoided the supermarket.

Boots

Boots this year disappointed me because there wasn't much so I only spent £6.24.

I bought the hand cream for my mum because she loves her hand creams and my little sister love her bath fizzers so I bought her the set. I've recently found that my face has become more oily and so I thought I'd give the Botanics solution a try.

Mothercare
I was in search for some new long sleeved PJs for Z as its become very cold and his old long sleeved PJs have grown small so I decided to look in Mothercare. I spent about £47 altogether.

I always buy extra pants as Z still have accidents and I was shocked at the price of the Thomas pants because the sticker said £3 but when I paid it said £1! £1 for 5 pairs of pants is such a bargain!

I got a few bits for my friend's babies and I have no prices for individual items as I lost the receipt but the items ranges from £3 to £8.

Superdrug

Every year I look forward to Superdrug's Sale because they have amazing discounts. This year was no difference except that a lot of stock was already gone by the time I got there but I did manage to do a fair bit of shopping and all I spent about £37 on this haul.

I bought a lot of Kinder Surprise gift houses as they were £0.99 each and I had a boxing day party to go to so I thought I'd get some for the kids there.

Lately I have been obsessed with bath fizzers (bath bombs). I haven't been using them in the bath but leaving them out in rooms like potpourri. I normally go to Lush but this year I thought I'd stay local.

I opened the boxes to see how soft the brushes were. The Ecotool set was less softer than the Studio ones but it was still very soft.

Sweet Snuggles Blanket £1.99

I love the colour of blanket but it wasn't as soft as I would like but I needed to get a small blanket to keep in S car for when Z falls asleep during car journeys.

I just went crazy with nail files. I have to file my nails at least once a fortnight as my nails chip very easily. I ended up giving some to my sisters because they're always stealing mine.

Bubble Bath Pods £0.10 Each

Z loves his baths and I loved the designs on them. I'm not too keen on using the bath bubble because Z has very sensitive skin so we just use them to play games with.

Sleek Silver Giftset £9.99

Out of all of the bargains I love my Sleek Giftset because it was a bargain! I had received the Sleek GOLD giftset for Christmas and they contain different items. Even the staff at Superdrug was shocked at the price!

Makeup Revolution London Haul and DIY gift

MAKEUP REVOLUTION LONDON HAUL
For Christmas my sisters asked for make-up and specifically eye-shadow and lipstick. I spent 2-3 days researching on make-up brands and products. I don't wear much make-up unless I'm going out and all I have in my make up bag is pressed powder foundation, black eyeliner and a red lipstick, its sad I know, but after much research I thought I'd try out makeup revolution London because I heard so much good reviews via youtube and its so affordable especially with their weekly deals.

Makeup Revolution was started in 2014 which makes it vary new but they have alot of good reviews and have been compared to high end make up brands.

This is what I bought from make-up revolution:

This is my first haul and I was so pleased with how everything came in. I was like a kid in a sweet shop! I couldn't test out every item as some of them was gifts and as you can see there are duplicate of some because I liked it so much I had to get one for myself.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pallets and got myself the Fast Love pallet 

The packaging is very simple and the fuschia font just stands out from the black making it very clean looking.

This pallet contains 10 Mattes and 22 shimmers.

This is the I am Sexy Pallet. I bought one as a gift and had to get one for myself because it's so convenient! Its prefect for make-over on the go and fits perfectly in any bag but the most importantly it contains a good sized mirror.

I swatched the pallets and fell in love with the shimmery colours! They would work well with smoky eyes and the lipstick (middle swatch) is so pigmented and in such a beautiful colour.

I bought 4 different lipsticks for myself 2 from the I Heart My Lips range and 2 from the #Liphug collection in the shades (L-R) Rising Pulse, Beating Heart, When you came to me and Saviour will come. 

Rising Pulse and When you came to me was very paler than I had expected. Beating Heart was a nice rosey pink colour but it didn't really suit me. My absolute favourite is Saviour will come it looks amazing on and especially during this season. These lipsticks are very creamy and doesn't feel sticky at all.

I also couldn't help myself and bought 2 Vivid Blush Lacquer in the shades Heart(L) and Heat(R).

I absolutely love these blush lacquer! They went on perfectly and all I need was one small squirt as they are so pigmented and it didn't feel sticky or heavy on my face.

I loved what I purchased so far and look forward to making more purchases in the future especially the pallets. I think I'm going to turn into a make up hoarder thanks to MUR! But if you're a beginner at make up like me these are prefect because their not expensive and you'd just fall in love with make up.

SNOWMEN GIFT CUPS
I made these for Z nursery teachers and the absolutely loved it especially when Z told them how he 'helped'.

I added the following into my snowmen cups (HowTo) before wrapping cellophane around it and adding some ribbon.

Contents: Homemade Chocolate Rice Krispies Puddings (HowTo), Hot Chocolate packet, Chocolate lollipop and a mixture of individually wrapped Chocolate.
