Celebration Meals

Hello!

I'm going to continue with my March munchies because I got kinda busy with potty training my toddler and its been difficult but his finally getting it! Hooray!!

so lets get back to the food..

S is Irish and so we had to celebrate St Patricks Day at TGi Fridays in Bluewater.
We ordered from The Liberty Menu as they told us it was new and I just like to try anything new.
Fire Roasted Veg Taquito Bites
These were amazing and it was full of yummy veg!

Boneless Wings
I didn't like this as I found it so cheesy even without the bleu cheese.

Bruce Lee Burger
I ordered this burger even though I don't normally eat burgers and this burger didn't help. The noodles inside the burger was so hard I couldn't even bite it. The burger was very spicy and the sauce was amazing but other than that I was really disappointed in it.

Half Rack of Ribs
S ordered this and wasn't very impressed as the onion rings seemed over cooked and hard and the ribs was dry.
I normally enjoy going to TGi Fridays but it was my first time at the Bluewater branch and I will not be returning. I went on a weekday and it wasn't very busy but it still took over 1 hour for someone to take our order and when we asked for the bill the waitress forgot! After waiting for another 30 minutes we asked another waitress for our bill.

March is also a special month for me and S as it's the month we got together :)
So for our anniversary we went to Sticks'n'Sushi in Greenwich.

Miso Soup
Full of flavour and very tasty

Upgrade
2 salmon nigiri, 2 tuna nigiri, 2 shrimps nigiri, 8 pink Alaska ura-maki, 8 crispy ebi ura-maki, 6 slices of salmon with a lime marinade, 6 slices of duck wrapped in rice paper with goma dressing, 2 tsukune chicken meatball sticks, 2 tuna sticks with chili dip, 2 lamb chops yasai sticks with seeds & miso dip.

Grilled scallop with masago, spring onion, lime & tsume soy

 Gypsy Big
Seared fish, spicy sauce, avocado, cucumber, chili, red onion, ginger & tsume soy

The Upgrade set was so filling that we didn't even finish it! The duck rolls tasted like a very bland summer roll with a very thin slice of duck and the sauce that came with it was very salty.
If you've read my previous post then you's know that I didn't get to try any sticks at my previous visit to a different sticks'n'sushi branch well the Upgrade set includes some sticks and tbh I didn't really enjoy it. It was very salty and I was so full after eating all of the sushi.
We both enjoyed the Grilled Scallop but the Gypsy big wasn't great as it was very bland and the soy used was very salty. Overall I found everything a bit too salty compared to the Covent Garden branch so I doubt I'd visit this branch any time soon.
