In The Night Garden Live - Blackheath

Hiya!

Z had a teacher's training day recently and as a treat we took him to see In The Night Garden Live! I booked tickets for the earliest showing at 10am for The Ninky Nonk show but that was the wrong choice because the night before he got so excited he wouldn't sleep until 2am!! The latest his ever been awake!

Anyways we got there and Z was super duper excited! Getting to Blackheath was easy but there was a bit of traffic especially where the round about was but it okay after that.
The had clear signs showing the entrance and exit and they had staff members stationed inside the parking area to show you where to park.
They had large banners which you could use to take pictures of your child with.

Inside the tent the staff was so friendly and made Z feel so special. He loved them! I was surprised to see how busy it was especially for a Friday morning but watching the children and parents get excited was so cute.

The set layout was very intimate and even though we was 7 seats behind we could see every character clearly and the seating was wide enough to place your child in front of you if they were younger.

The show was about 1hr long and halfway through Z became restless but he stuck it out until the very end. I only found fault with the Windmills as I sat next to a little girl who kept waving it close to my face and they do hurt. Her parent's did eventually move her in between them after S said something.
It was a good show but I don't recommend it to under 4s as it is very long but being able to see the characters come to life was so fun and the show is so vibrant. Its definitely a show to be seen!
