Royal Arsenal Food Market

Hi!

I saw a post for the farmers market in Royal Arsenal and decided to go this Saturday.

I was disappointed at the market because there wasn't much when I went but I think it may be because I went very late but I did manage to get a quick bite from one of the stalls.

We ordered 3 Pork Buns for £5 each and it smelt amazing! We had to wait for about 5 minutes but it felt shorter as it was mesmerising watching the chef cook the pork and buns.

J was very disappointed as her bun wasn't even warm. My bun was warm but on the cold side. The sauce was made from peanut butter and hoisin sauce which tasted very salty. I felt that it needed some sort of chilli sauce to bring out something different. I love the pickled cucumber and craved some more! The meat was so tender and juicy but it was missing some sort of flavour because it had no flavour without the sauce.
